Yep, so that's one of my new nicknames. Why do I always attract strange names? There's Goo, Captain Carl, Crazy Carl, Hot Legs, H.L., Hard Liquor, Hot Carl....to name a few. I suppose it could be worse. Like Red Dog. *duck* Hah! Dodged that one Liz! Well, at least for now... So...I've been bad. How long has it been since my last update? One...two months? SORRRYYYY!!! Things have been crazy busy. First I got the olde Hater Mill. AKA Caribou Coffee. I'm a supervisor now, so my pay got boosted a tad, but it's still not worth it at all. Damn, I gotta get out of this town. My official quit date is the 23rd of December. Just in time to enjoy a bit of the holidays. Then I'm off to Carbondale, IL. This brings me to the real source of my busyness. The old job hunt. Or as I call it, the Hate Mine. If only someone would call me back about my F'ing resume. Ugg. So, recent activities. First off, I gave Ben a visit. Only a 15 minute visit, but it was fun. Ben...I will come back soon. Um...what else... I drank some absinthe...um...that was really not that impressive. Tasted pretty bad, and felt just like alcohol to me. So...we've learned that life is pretty boring in Carland right now. Actually, one minor point of excitement is that I've been able to recreate many of my Japanese dining experiences right here in the U S of A. First, Golden Curry, the slop they served in the Japanese caffeteria that I couldn't get enough of, is sold at my Asian market. Chicken doesn't work quite as well as hanbagu or tonkatsu, but beggars can't be choosers. I've also found UFO, the ole Lawson yakisoba that I fell in love with late in my Japanese experience. Now I just need some cheap Inari and I'll be in heaven...well, a nice job in Carbondale would be heaven, but my stomach would be pretty happy. Well, I'm gonna fade this journal update out here. First, though, a little statement about my music of the day...Black Eyed Peas: What the hell happened!?! This song is shit! You disgust me! And now the fade out.........
